Fresh Wall

The Fresh Wall action - when walls say kind words.

On the international Good Deeds Day, the Republican Volunteer Center held an action, Fresh Wall - an initiative directed to the improvement of city institutions through artistic painting and wall decoration.

The main idea of the project is to make the spaces, which are being passed through multiple times a day by kids, teachers, patients, and workers, cozier and brighter. Beautiful and inspiring surroundings help people to feel more confident, free, and calm, especially at schools, kindergartens, and hospitals.

This year, the event took place at the Rambam Jewish Lyceum. The RVC volunteer team prepared and decorated one of the areas of the school, turning plain walls into a space with a mood - with colors, shapes, details, and a sense. Art paintings didn't only make the interior better but also highlighted the value of participation. It became a reminder that the improvement of the city environment begins with simple yet meaningful steps, together.

The Fresh Wall action showed how volunteer initiatives can change mundane reality, give inspiration, make places people are already used to warmer, and form a culture of caring for common spaces.

Huge thanks to all volunteers who put pieces of their soul into the school's walls. Every detail matters, especially when there is a good intention behind it.
