On April 2, the celebration of Pesach was held together with the elderly and project volunteers of the Origins of Mercy Project.
The Passover is the most ancient of Jewish holidays, it is associated with one of the most important events in Jewish history, namely with the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt.
In the traditional part Rebekka Safronova, our jewish educator, helped us a lot. In addition to telling us a little more about the history of the holiday, she also conducted a model Passover Seder. On the tables were all the traditional aspects of the meal: carpas, maror, charoset, matzah, salted water and others. The celebration of Pesach was held in a warm atmosphere.
At the end of the Seder, Riva sang all her favorite Jewish songs and we even danced a little.
