The "Inform" Project is looking for active volunteers who are ready to keep our community connected and informed about important events.

Main task: Informing Hesed clients and volunteers by phone about project activities, events and holidays of the community and the city, and also making surveys.

Schedule: Per month on request basis.

The ideal candidate has clear diction, the ability to find the right words, and the skill to convince. If you are confident that you can effectively communicate information and motivate people to participate in the life of the community, we are waiting for your response!

Всем привет! Меня зовут Тоня, мне 17 лет и я учусь в лицее. О деятельности Центра я узнала через своего знакомого, который однажды рассказал об этом прекрасном месте, о людях, которые бескорыстно помогают другим, проводя свое свободное время с пользой. Я решила, что тоже хочу стать волонтером, тоже хочу быть частью этой огромной и дружной семьи.

Добровольческой деятельностью я занимаюсь уже 1 год и очень счастлива, что состою в этой организации. Проект, в котором я принимаю активное участие называется: «Истоки милосердия». Каждый, кто участвует в этом проекте, работает с пожилыми людьми. Наша цель — уделить внимание, пообщаться и проявить заботу к тем, кто в этом очень нуждаются.

Волонтерство изменило мое мировоззрение, я стала частью тех людей, кто каждый день стараются изменить этот мир к лучшему. Я безумно счастлива, что я волонтер, и я горжусь этим!

Волонтерское движение, это не только постоянная помощь, а еще это новые знакомства и опыт. Нет ничего приятнее, чем приходить в РВЦ и понимать, что нас много и с каждым годом становится только больше. Каждый день — это нечто прекрасное, особенно, когда видишь улыбку на лице того, кому тебе удалось протянуть руку помощи. В такие моменты мир становится ярче!

A volunteer is a state of mind. The desire to do good, help people and make the world around you a better place. Age, profession in this case are not at all important, because the main thing is a sincere impulse. Today our hero is Albina Borimechkova. Albina is 44 years old. Works as an office manager in a car service company. “For many years I, together with my mother and family, participated in KEDEM’s events. I knew about the activities of the RVC for a long time and took part in one-time actions. I consciously started volunteering this year, decided that I want to devote more time to this. At the moment I am engaged in helping the elderly, being part of the Call-Center project. I am also ready to participate in other projects in this direction, as well as in the framework of the «Origins of Mercy». What motivates you? I would like to give good, to devote time and attention. Volunteering was brought up in me by my mother and I want to continue by my example to bring up a sense of care and responsibility for other people in my children. Of course, in volunteering, you can’t do without funny stories. Once a funny situation happened to us. One granny gave me and the children clothes from her chest. And we had to dress like children from the dungeon every time we met to please her. I am sure that volunteering is important. It is important for our society, for people. It develops a sense of responsibility, educates a person in you — very important qualities in modern society «

Curiosity led us to volunteering. My sister and I attended Romanian language classes at the International Training and Professional Development Center at KEDEM and became interested in the stands of the Volunteer Center. They were so bright and interesting that we wanted to learn more about it.

So we became volunteers for the "Call Center" project, which is designed for communicating with elderly members of the community. Our task is to provide information about upcoming events, congratulate them on holidays, conduct surveys, and find out what assistance they need. When the military actions started in Israel, we also called the elderly to provide prompt assistance.

We have also been involved in other volunteer initiatives. Last year, Kristina participated in the "Clean Chișinău" campaign on the Good Deeds Day, and I helped organize a master class for the elderly in Buděšty. Together, we also assisted in conducting a master class for participants of the "Day Center" project.

We participate in the IMPROmedia project, and among other things, voiced an animated video on the history of Purim. We also joined the "Memory in Documents" project, but it is currently suspended due to the military actions in Israel. We have made several festive visits to community members with gifts and have also participated in workshops on making crafts and gifts for the elderly.

Volunteering for us is an opportunity to lead an active life, communicate, and help those in need of support. We take part in various events organized by the Volunteer Center and KEDEM, and we are very glad that we once followed our curiosity!
