Volunteer School Hub - sharing the results!
In 2023, with the support of the Swiss Cooperation Office, the unique project Volunteer School Hub was launched aimed at involving students in grades 9-12 in volunteer activities. At this crucial time when teenagers contemplate their future, volunteering can become the key to defining their path.
30 talented students from Chisinau, Comrat, and Bender underwent an educational course, learning to create their own initiatives and projects. And already in February, this knowledge was put into action!
The result? 12 unique initiatives organized by students right in schools! From festive events to environmental actions - school life has become more vibrant and interesting.
For example, ten students decided to participate in a volunteer action by donating books to the library of "Ginta Latina" lyceum. This initiative will expand the selection of literature for all students and provide them with more opportunities for reading and learning. Thanks to the generosity of these students, our library has become even richer and more exciting for everyone. With great enthusiasm, ninth graders from "Ginta Latina" lyceum embarked on an action to make the school cleaner and better maintained. Fifth graders became volunteers, creating beautiful greeting cards for International Women's Day for elderly people, teachers, and parents, to bring them joy and happiness. Their sincere efforts and warm wishes filled our hearts with pride and confidence in the power of goodness.
Not only education and the development of leadership qualities but also caring for the environment and cultural enrichment - that's what Volunteer School Hub brought to schools. Students enthusiastically share their books, organize scientific events, and make school days brighter!
Soon, on April 14, we will celebrate the Day of Good Deeds - a time when new initiatives will come to life. Follow us and support young volunteers in their endeavors!
