On April 28, RVC volunteers participated in the exciting sports event VeloHora 2024. This was an opportunity to take part in the organization from the inside, to be part of the team that handles preparation and decision-making. For this purpose, the "volunteer-logistics" position has been open for more than three years, allowing volunteers to see behind the scenes of the event and gain valuable experience. This time, the volunteers had the chance to participate in preparing for the sports marathon.

To equip our volunteers with as much knowledge and useful skills as possible, and to support their motivation, we offer a variety of social projects throughout the year. Sports city events are particularly popular - the Republican Volunteer Center usually co-organizes such events several times a year. 

Twenty-five of our center's volunteers provided comprehensive support for the cycling race, which gathered a huge number of participants. They assisted with registration, conducted surveys, guided participants at the start, and provided other necessary help. The sporting enthusiasm of the VeloHora participants was contagious, and our volunteers were energized and inspired by the spirit of competition!
