VC seminar in Ukraine
The Volunteer Community workshop, jointly organized by JDC and Volunteer Community, brought together 85 coordinators and co-coordinators from Ukraine and Moldova under one roof.
Not so long ago, in the picturesque ancient city of Kamenets-Podolsky, a long-awaited and significant event took place, which every participant will remember for a long time. Four days we spent in an atmosphere of inspiration and exchange of experience turned out to be a powerful incentive for all participants.
The organizing team managed to create a platform on which new ideas and perspectives flourished. The seminar became a place where everyone could share their experiences and learn something new.
Several days of training flew by, and many prospects await the participants ahead. After all, at the seminar a large number of new ideas were put forward that contribute to the development of volunteer centers in the cities of the participants. Sessions on management, fundraising, PR, copyright and the use of new technologies not only inspired, but also provided specific tools for further activities.
Also, the days of the seminar coincided with another significant event - the premiere of the documentary film “UA2022: Volunteering of Jewish Communities in Ukraine.” Seminar participants had the opportunity to be the first to see the work filmed by the Volunteer Community. The film shows the activities of volunteer centers throughout Ukraine, revealing how volunteering became the main support for those in need.
Thus, the Volunteer Community seminar confirmed that together we are capable of achieving incredible results. This platform united us around common values, inspired collaboration and gave us confidence in the future.
