The BE PROFY Project Launched
BE PROFY is a cycle of educational meetings for volunteers aimed at developing and improving their skills. The project offers volunteers the opportunity to join various events, seminars, and sessions to bring their ideas to life and contribute to improving the quality of life in society, infrastructure development, and ecology.
The seminar held from June 28 to 30, 2024, was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Republican Volunteer Center and became an important stage of the BE PROFY project. The seminar was attended by 23 volunteers, 7 RVC team coordinators, and 2 guest lecturers.
The first day was dedicated to introducing the participants and lectures on the topic of modern volunteering trends. After lunch, the volunteers participated in a session called "Life Cycle. Volunteer Support" and discussed project idea creation. The evening concluded with dinner and an entertainment program.
The second day began with morning exercises and breakfast, after which the participants listened to a lecture on "Volunteer Retention in the Team." In the afternoon, sports games were held, followed by a lunch break. The important part of the day included lectures on project management and sessions on preparing project structures by teams. In the evening, the participants discussed the basics of fundraising and the ethics of coordinators and volunteers.
The last day of the seminar was dedicated to the presentation of the developed projects. After morning exercises and breakfast, the participants attended a lecture on "Time Management," followed by the defense of their projects. Each team was given the opportunity to present their ideas, with a total of 8 ideas presented.
The BE PROFY seminar was vibrant and eventful. Volunteers developed numerous project ideas, and each idea received initial support from the RVC team for implementation. The proposed projects will definitely be launched at the Republican Volunteer Center, and the cycle of educational meetings for volunteers BE PROFY will continue until November.
