RVC Volunteers at Europe Triathlon Cup
On July 11th, 12th, and 13th, Chisianu became the highlight of the summer sport events - Family Sport Day.
Over 50 RVC volunteers became an irreplaceable part of the Family Sport Day team in the Europe Triathlon Cup, which brought together participants from all over Moldova and abroad, providing the immaculate event's organization. The work of the volunteers engaged all crucial aspects of the event - from morning preparations to the awarding ceremonies.
Volunteers' responsibilities:
- registration of the participants and distribution of the starter packs;
- accompaniment of the sportsmen on start and finish lines;
- coordination of the guest crowds and orientation of the event area;
- help in technical areas and in food outlets;
- supervision of the order and safety;
- maintenance of the supportive and friendly vibe for everybody there.
During the competition, volunteers were working with organizers and judges, demonstrating a high level of preparation, composure, and true teamwork.
For a lot of members, it turned out to be not only a volunteering experience but also an opportunity to try themselves in different shoes, to develop their leadership skills, to improve communication skills, and to build stress resilience. This is an experience that will stay with you long after the event itself - in your skills and self-confidence.
