Quiz & Ice Cream Shavuot

On June 1st, a celebration took place in JCC KEDEM for kids and their parents, simultaneously connected to 2 meaningful holidays - Shavuot and the International Children's Day. The program united educational, creative, and amusing elements and created a warm family vibe of joy and kind communication.

The key of the event was an interactive quiz dedicated to traditions and Shavuot. Questions were adapted to the age of the participants and let children get acquainted with the history, symbolism, and values of the holiday in a playful way. Parents were actively involved in a proccess - they answered the questions with the kids, discussed, and shared their knowledge.

During the creative workshop, kids were making their own crafts regarding Shavuot and were working with the paper, flowers, and other decorative materials. This became an opportunity to express themselves and to work in a team, developing imagination and fine motor skills.

A special place in the program took the snack area; we prepared sweet surprises for the guests, including ice cream, which became a nice ending to a bright and fun day.

This event brought together numbers and numbers of families and created a space where kids felt like the center of attention and adults like a part of an active, warm, and friendly community. Organizers want to thank all the participants for activism, smiles, and the desire to spend family holidays with benefit and inspiration.
