"Volunteer School 2023: Education and Inspiration for RVC Volunteers."
Society strives for change, and the younger generation plays a crucial role in this process. As part of the grant program for youth organizations, an educational seminar "Volunteer School" 2023 was organized. This project aims to educate young people in the field of volunteering and provide them with the necessary skills for active participation in voluntary activities.
The first event of the project, the Volunteer Vacancy Fair, attracted 170 volunteers out of 300 participants who expressed their willingness to contribute to charity and provide voluntary assistance. However, the path to professional volunteering is just beginning, and here comes the seminar "Volunteer School" to help.
The three-day course, held from October 27 to 29, included team building, training with a psychologist, teamwork, acquaintance with volunteering specialists, the creation of social projects, and practical fundraising exercises for 25 volunteers.
"Volunteer School" 2023 is not only about learning volunteering skills but also an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and exchange experiences. This project, implemented as part of the 2023 Grants Program for Youth Organizations, contributes to the formation of active and civic-minded young professionals ready to change the world for the better.
On November 5, we concluded the course with team building for seminar participants to unite the team of volunteers and congratulated them on their professional holiday - International Volunteer Coordinator Day.
