Give a Paw

We always say that change starts small, starts with yourself and your attitude to what surrounds you.

We do not stop at what has been achieved, we want to make the world a better place, so on October 17 we held two environmental campaigns dedicated to the GDD. Our active families and volunteers, who are concerned about the ecological state of our city, went to clean the park on Riscani within the framework of the Clean Chisinau project. Of course, the situation in the park left much to be desired and the participants were not ready for the amount of garbage that was waiting for them in the park. It is not for nothing that they say “the eyes are afraid, but the hands are doing”, our participants, inspired by this statement, armed themselves with the necessary tools and within two hours they managed to collect more than 70 kg of garbage left by people after walking in the forest. The volunteers who took part in our action were amazed at the amount of garbage, because you need to understand that the waste left by people (plastic bottles, plastic bags) decomposes for more than 100 years. With such an attitude to nature, every year it will be more and more difficult to find a cozy and clean corner where you can spend time with family and friends in the fresh air. It’s good that thanks to volunteers, the city’s parks can become cleaner, the main thing is that others also try to maintain cleanliness and take care of the environment.

Our good deeds do not end there and, as we said at the beginning, on October 17 we had another action «Give Lapu», in which families and volunteers who love animals took part. All volunteers went to a shelter in the town of Cricova, where more than 100 stray dogs live. Our participants were able not only to play and spend time with the animals, but also to help in improving the territory. All the participants were pleased with this trip, because everyone was able to give a little love to the animals that need it so much.

Doing good is not difficult at all! Find a little free time and come to our Center to change the world for the better!
