Hanukkah holiday has taken place within the “Origins of Mercy” project. It has united two generations: elderly and young people.

Hanukkah is a holiday of lights. Every time we look forward to it, thinking back the brightest moments of the year that is now ending.

Volunteers of the Center helped elderly people to feel festive mood, when they gathered with their wards for the Hanukkah holiday. You cannot name our Jewish grandmothers and grandfathers old. They danced as young people as if they were ageless. Variety Jewish songs performed by Revekka Safronova filled up a holiday atmosphere with cheerful and bright colours. Genial smiles didn’t leave faces of our guests, and hearts were filled with feeling of something incredible near and dear, link of times and traditions, of a mysterious miracle of Hanukkah, music and a good entertainment.
