Jerusalem Day

RVC invites you to Jerusalem Day!

Jerusalem Day is celebrated in the second month of the Jewish calendar on the basis of the Exodus from Egypt and in the eighth month, if it is considered from the Creation of the universe in Tishrei. The holiday was proclaimed in honor of the reunification of Jerusalem after the Six-Day War (1967). During the Battle of the Old City, the Jews managed to establish control over the sacred places for the first time in two thousand years – the Temple Mount and the Wailing Wall. This day symbolizes the historical connection of the Jewish people with Jerusalem.

As a part of the project “Sources of Mercy”, we organize a thematic meeting for the elderly and project volunteers. Master classes on the holiday topic, stories and city legends, as well as discussions about what makes this city special, are waiting for you.

The event will be held on May 13 at 14:30 in the Concert Hall of the EKC “KEDEM”.We are looking forward to seeing you!
