Hanukkah Sabbath is one of the most intensive Jewish holidays. It’s really the most luminous, as not only two Shabbat candles, but also hanukiyah candles are lit. On this day Hanukkah Shabbat 5778 was held within the walls of Kishinev Jacobs Jewish Campus for volunteers of Volunteer Center RVC and participants of youth club Haverim. After lighting of hanukiyah candles and reading Shabbat blessings, all guests went to the assembly hall for the festive program. They have a possibility to participate in Hanukkah investigation, sing festive songs, learn recipes of the tastiest Hanukkah dishes, make dreidel and reveal secrets of the Hanukkah attributes. As a result, our guests learned much more about origin of the holiday and also about the Hanukkah miracle. Thank you that you were this evening with us!
