From 5th to 10th of November Anastasia Eremeeva (coordinator of Volunteer Center) has been to Mexico, where she has visited two volunteer conferences. The first was dedicated to Good Deeds Day. At the conference participants from all over the world presented their volunteer centers and organizations, as well as the shared their experience in organization of Good Deeds Day in their countries. Nastya, in her turn, presented Moldova and spoke about volunteerism in our country. She also made a presentation on how Good Deeds Day was organized by Republican Volunteer Center and showed the video from that day. “I’ve got a lot of ideas of doing Good Deeds Day even bigger and more interesting!” – Nastia shared her impressions after event.
Next, she took part in the 24th IAVE World Volunteer Conference, which brought together representatives of volunteer organizations from around the world. In total, the conference was attended by over 1,000 people. Together, they have learned something new about different aspects of volunteering, have found out new techniques to communicate with volunteers, shared experience and built partnership relations with other countries. “Now I clearly imagine on what course to go further”, – says Nastya. At this conference, she also represented Moldova and made a presentation together with the participants of Good Deeds Day. We wish Nastia new major success in her projects!
