By the birthday of our beloved city – October 14 – the team of the Republican Volunteer Center, together with volunteers, is preparing to release the history of Chisinau in faces – a photo exhibition “Chisinau residents of the 20th century”. The very presentation of the photo exhibition will be the final part of the large volunteer project of the “Sources of Mercy” direction.

“Chisinau Citizens of the 20th Century” is a creative volunteer project aimed at preserving memory and connection, sharing life experience and knowledge between generations. The project was initiated by volunteers who care about the history and development of our capital. In the course of communication with the elderly, many stories about Jewish Chisinau and not only have accumulated. That is why we decided to turn several of them into an informative and interesting photo exhibition with personal stories of elderly members of the Jewish Community of the Republic of Moldova about how our city, its way of life and way of life has changed over the past 50 years and more.
The work of the project is reaching the finish line, but everyone who wishes has a chance to contribute to the implementation of the project “Chisinau residents of the 20th century”.
