My name is Eсaterina Kalinkina. I am 16 years old. I study at the IT Technical School (CEITI). I speak two foreign languages: French and English.
I enjoy volunteering because I like doing good deeds and helping others!
I cannot say that a certain RVC project is my favorite because all of them are great and necessary, each in its own way. I volunteer in Give a Smile, SunRise, and Sources of Mercy projects.
RVC is a large and unite family where I feel really good. People here are always ready to help each other, are nice and friendly. It is a great pleasure to work with them!
Volunteer activities bring me positive emotions and motivate me to encourage others to help each other, especially, those in need.
Hi! My name is Lily, I am developing web design for mobile applications. I am a graphic designer by profession. I love active recreation, Hiking on mountain trails, I love to travel, this inspires me to new projects and their implementation. I also walk my videos sometimes.
I got into RVC thanks to your Facebook page and invitations to participate in events. As soon as I had time, I remembered that I wanted to devote it to helping people together with the team of the volunteer center. I myself have been engaged in volunteer activities for more than 9 years. But I like to do this more in RVC, because here your participation is encouraged, and this moves you forward, motivates you to develop further and, not least, encourages you to invite others. In short, I like the level that is supported here!
I continue to be a volunteer, because to be useful to someone, for me – it is to improve, create, influence, help – it is a continuous chain. I like it when people try to change for the better, or find answers to their questions when they turn to me for help, advice, or request.
If we talk about motivation, it is probably, in a sense, a miracle that happens when the right people find the right people. Have you watched the movie “Stars on earth”? The main character-a boy is forced to endure bullying until he finds the right (knowledgeable and not indifferent) teacher, who finds the reason and correctly explains it and everything falls into place. I’m motivated by meeting people and how we influence each other.
I try to participate in all projects, but the closest, of course, are those related to nature, its preservation, ecology. I also like projects that focus on training and development, both for the younger generation and the elderly.I believe that development is an important process in our life that needs a lot of attention. And projects related to creativity, transformation into the new, because through them people learn to see beauty.
One of the most striking events for me was the photo exhibition “Past Now”, with the participation of older people. The shots were represented by their transformation into their best version. Also at the exhibition, everyone could try out innovations in the field of mobile technologies and games. In fact, there was something memorable in every meeting, event, and a lot of love, knowledge, time, and work was invested in each event!
I want to wish the Republican Volunteer Center to become even better! Even more interesting! Create a lot of projects that are important to bring to life!
Thank you, you are great!!!
My name is Alexander Chebotar. I am 30 years old. I moved to Chisinau from Tiraspol to study at the University; then I got a job here.
I like outdoor activities, I have many non-standard hobbies. Three years I attended the medieval reconstruction club and even nowadays sometimes I go there for skill training.
The first time I came to the Republican Volunteer Center at the request of my friend who asked me for help. Then I decided to get enrolled as a volunteer. I have been volunteering in the RVC for 7 months.
When I completed my first project, I had a sense of fulfillment, correctness and necessity of my actions. I like to take up the challenges in different fields, i.e. by helping children, the elderly or the environment. But playing with children, of course, is more fun!
I wish new volunteers to try something new and not be afraid to change their usual style of life!
My name is Irina, I am 57 years old. I am a retired engineer, accountant, and administrator. I like to lead an active lifestyle and be creative. I am also engaged in volunteering for the third year. I am always happy to help people, and now I can pay more attention to this, because I have free time and opportunities. At RVC, I was attracted by the interest in new activities and an existing organization that I saw great potential in. I am inspired to continue my active volunteer work by people who need my help, as well as the support of my beloved daughter and like-minded people. From the very beginning, I chose to help the elderly. I am interested in learning and developing in this field, giving joy and hope. My advice to new volunteers is to look around and find those who need your help, and then start giving a piece of yourself, your time, and your soul.
Hello everyone My name is Yanaki Ilona, I am 17 years old and I am a volunteer!
I study at the Lyceum “Olymp”, and I also study English. I love languages, and would like to know a few) My Hobbies are music, reading, and psychology.
I first came to the RVC at the age of 15, I was inspired by projects, friendly atmosphere and volunteering itself, so since June 2018, I started volunteering and helping people!
We have a lot of cool, unusual, interesting projects, most of all I like the ideas of projects: “Creation Space “ – which is aimed at developing public speaking skills, gaining self-confidence, as well as the” happy women’s Club”, where women are made happy, hold interesting and useful lectures, introduce them to various specialists who can help them with practical advice. It’s great, isn’t it?.
But my favorite project is, of course, #Myself!)
The project ” Myself” works with children, teaches them how to behave in different situations, safety! I take an active part in this project and get a lot of pleasure from working with children! I also participate in projects: “Do good”; “Creation space”; Yasam; Shabbat NES, Birthday Day.
I would like to wish the volunteers inspiration, strength, and success in all their endeavors!
Hey everyone! My name’s Kikioi Alina and I’m a volunteer from RVC!
I’ve become a volunteer due to my classmate. Once he offered me to come with him to the project because his partner couldn’t come, that’s why I’ve agreed. Sincerely, I had no idea even where I was going and why. Only when we started our way I’ve found out that I take part in «School of Repair» project and I should help Vova to fix some stuff. This is how my volunteer story has begun…
I liked to communicate with older people so the next day I’ve come to RVC and registered as a volunteer.
The elderly lady, who we had visited with Vova encouraged me to take this step. She was so happy when we arrived, it was so pleasant to talk with her and the most important thing – we wanted to help her. That was the moment when I felt that I’m needed.
In RVC I like the most that we, who are a young team, have an opportunity to make our ideas real. Also I appreciate the Center’s support, especially the coordinators’ one, who are always ready to help us.
About motivation – everything is simple – I don’t need it! I don’t need a special thought which is going to help me moving forward. I’ve become a volunteer consciously and I dedicate myself to this activity with great pleasure.
In general, I work with children, that is why I take part in projects «New Life of an Item», «School of Life», «Birthday child» and in a new one «Eco-friendly kids edition».
I don’t have a favourite project, because all of them are amazing, but the closest one for me is «New Life of an Item» because it was the first my project, it gave me my first volunteer experience and helped me to meet new people.
The greatest event was Summer School Be.Do.Have. I registered at RVC right after the Summer School had ended, so I had been waiting for a year to go there. When it has finally happened was the happiest person! Be.Do.Have gave me a lot of new knowledge and experience, new friends and pleasant memories.
My name is Vika, I study at the theoretical Lyceum im. Natalia Dadiani. In my free time, I like to listen to music, read, dance and play sports. I came to the volunteer center thanks to my friends, to whom I am very grateful. I got into RVC 4 months ago and already realized how wonderful it is to do good. My friends-volunteers, kind and friendly coordinators became my second family. It’s nice to come back here again and again every day!
In my volunteer work, I am motivated by the smiles of the people I help. Most often, these are elderly people who live alone. That’s why bringing them joy is very valuable to me. I participate in the projects ” Shabbat at home “(I meet Shabbat with elderly Jews) and “repair School” (I do small household repairs in the homes of grandparents).
I want to wish new volunteers not to be afraid of anything and come to the volunteer center to realize themselves and do good!
I’m 17 years old. At the moment I’m not studying anywhere. I may say that my hobbies are learning English and doing sports. Moreover I enjoy philosophy and psychology.
About volunteering I’ve found out from my classmate but couldn’t decide to come to the Volunteer Center for a long time, because my free time was very limited. In February I’ve finally got this opportunity and I’ve decided to spend my free time with benefit. I like the possibilities which Volunteer Center provides. In addition to help people, I can develop my personality: gain new knowledge and communicate with interesting people. It is very valuable for me.
I take part in most of Center’s projects, but the most I enjoy the ones related to elderly. Communication with older people is a real pleasure for me.
Volunteering gives me invaluable experience and awesome memories. It has completely changed my life. I’ve become a different person, gained new knowledge and started to understand people better. I’m motivated by the fact that I may be useful for society and at the same time develop as an individual.
I’d like to wish volunteers not to lose faith in your favourite activity, but to improve yourself, to put your heart into the things you do, and to launch «The Boomerang of Good» which is going to return if you do it from your heart.
My name is Olya, I am 16 years old. I am a student of the 10th grade of the the Teoretical Lyceum “Universul”. I decided to become a volunteer because I had a lot of free time. I needed something to occupy it, and I realized that there was no point in wasting it when I could benefit the community and the city I live in.
I have been working as a volunteer for three months. At RVC, I was accepted by friendly coordinators and no less friendly guys-volunteers. Everyone here is very nice, funny and kind. I immediately felt the support from them, and I realized that I had found my place.
The first project I participated in was a trip to The V. Ignatenko children’s hospital. It left a lot of positive emotions and memories. What motivates me to volunteer is that now I have the opportunity to benefit others and get incredible pleasure from it. RVC gives me a huge selection of projects that I can participate in, and for that, thank you so much to the coordinators! I’m involved in almost all existing projects, but I’m probably closest to helping the elderly. Communicating with them gives me invaluable experience and knowledge, which I, in turn, pass on to my peers. I want to wish the volunteers patience, and those who want to become them – to be bolder and act!
My name is Seryozha, I am a 4th-year student at the Financial and banking College. I like to play mind games, go out with friends, and travel.
I decided to join the volunteer center after the volunteer job Fair. Since then, I have been volunteering for six months. I still remember my thoughts when I first got into RVC: “it’s fun Here!”
I am motivated by the mood with which the volunteers do their work. With this positive attitude, we can do a lot to change life in the country for the better!
I participate in the project “give a smile”, where I help children in hospitals to distract from their illness and enjoy life. A team of volunteers and I conduct master classes and play games for them. Communication with children brings a lot of fun, and their smiles are the best gift for me!
I would advise all new volunteers to try themselves in each project and find the one that suits them perfectly.
My name is Sasha Chubatyuk. I am 29 years old. I am a University student and a volunteer.
My first volunteer experience was last year in April, on Good Deeds Day. I like helping people in various ways.
I volunteer in the Repair School and in the Sources of Mercy projects. I care for the elderly, go shopping with them and help them within the framework of different community service projects.
I am driven by the idea that I do good deeds, help people meet their needs, and this motivates me to continue volunteering.
When I think of the benefits my volunteer activities bring to these people, I feel motivated to go on, of course, together with other volunteers, whom I wish success, strength, and inspiration!
I started volunteering on the 1st of August of the previous year. I and my friend were playing computer game and suddenly he said: «I want to do something useful for society.» The next day he came ta RVC, registered and asked me to join him, saying that it’s better than spending summer next to computer.
My first volunteer experience was at action where I was delivering basic household chemicals to older people. And then I continued my volunteer activity! I’ve begun taking part in a project connected with my college’s specialty (I study at College of Building)
It was «School of Repair» project, where I have spent the most time. Besides this one I’ve participated in almost every project except for the ones connected with kids.
The greatest impression was «Volunteer of the Year» Awards Ceremony 2018: staying on the stage I was proud of myself, I’ve had 137 hours of volunteering during 5 months (August-December).
A lot of people are afraid of coming to the Volunteer Center because: 1) it’s difficult 2) I don’t have enough time 3) «I don’t want, what will I do there?». Sincerely, I am not going to persuade people, because this desire should be from the heart. If you want to socialize, help people and be useful for society, come to RVC, I’m sure you are going to like it and won’t regret!
This year, she has attended a number of workshops for volunteer coordinators, and has already managed to apply the knowledge she gained. She attended Be.Do.Have Summer School and launched a project called Happy Women’s Club which has become very popular. She also attended a very interesting workathon in Mykolaiv, Ukraine (a 3-day workshop at which volunteers solve different social problems in a very short period of time).
She is very enthusiastic about such a great experience, about working in such a wonderful team and all the good deeds she has managed to do for the past year.
Now, Marina needs a new portion of inspiration for new projects!

Hi! My name is Anya Doni and I am a volunteer. My first experience of volunteering was when I was still at school, when my friends and I made Christmas cards for children from an orphanage. And if we talk about a larger, serious project, I took part in the national conference against violence, where, by the way, the idea of a social project created at the Be Do Have summer school was born: “Spune NU Violeneiei”.
I started volunteering because I wanted to help children and do something good for them. At that stage of my life, I could almost say I was wearing pink glasses. Of course, I heard about violence, but it was somehow far from me and more was taken from films, books, and the topics raised at the conference, statistics and frightening facts greatly shocked me. As if I didn’t expect people to be so cruel, especially to children.
I am motivated by the desire to give my best to volunteer – my strength, time, energy, share my positive emotions, and help those who need it. And get positive emotions in return. This must be my dope! I believe that positive emotions are the key to a happy life.
Speaking about the projects I participated in, I immediately remember my sister’s participation in the project “School of life”. Masha asked me to give a lecture about sex education among teenagers. I spent this lesson, realized that I liked it, and most importantly, that the lecture was liked by the children! I also love working on my project “Spune NU violeneiei!” – this project aims to inform teenagers about different types of violence, as well as training them to recognize and respond to violence correctly.
One of the most striking recent events is the presentation of the project to the Summer school Be.Do. Have and receive a certificate from the KMB. I didn’t expect to get this certificate at all and, of course, when your work is appreciated, it is very pleasant. And the very defense of the project was very exciting for me, I was very worried, because I understood that all responsibility for the project lies with me, and since I did not have a team, I could not take into account some shortcomings.
Volunteering is not free work, as some say, but a process that changes the world for the better, and everyone may not feel it individually, but globally – it is, indeed, so!

My name is Jenea. I study at the State University of Moldova at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.
I like working with people but my profession does not imply this; that is why I decided to become a volunteer. When I was new at the RVC, I faced a lot of challenges. I had to overcome the fear I felt and to go on, for the sake of self-development. Step by step, I met new people, heard new stories and found new opportunities. I get motivation from the team I work with, enjoy volunteer activities and feel happy when we help others, and from the emotions we share with the people we help.
Children are open-hearted and very sincere, I like working with them most of all. I wish all volunteers to do what gives them energy and strength. I believe that only by becoming more meaningful and confident you can make other people happy.

My name is Pasha Kramarenko. I am a first-year student of the faculty of food industry at the Polytechnic University. I decided to become a volunteer after the “volunteer job Fair”, where I got acquainted with several projects that were particularly interesting for me. One of them was “give me a smile”. On the first trip, I had a great time playing with the children, and decided to continue working in the project. So I’ve been volunteering for two years now. Now I work in the projects “repair School”, “give a smile”, “eyewitness Theater” and “Stay-Fit”. The volunteer center has become for me a place where you can realize yourself and your creative skills, and there is always an opportunity to try something new.
My favorite project is still “give me a smile”. This project is especially motivating for me, because every time I go to the children, they charge me with endless positive energy, which is sometimes so lacking in everyday life.
For those who are planning to become a volunteer, I want to say that RVC has a huge selection of projects for almost everyone, regardless of age and degree of employment.
I study in Lyceum “Ion și Doina Aldea-Teodorovici”. My Hobbies are very different: I like to walk with friends, listen to music, dance, and my favorite activity is drawing. In the future, I want to become an architect.
In addition to this, I decided to become a volunteer. I have always been interested in the problems that society faces. I also adhere to the principle: “One good thing is better than a thousand good words.”
I have been volunteering for more than a year and have never regretted my choice. My impression after the first volunteer action was: “I Want more!» For me, volunteering is a sea of beautiful emotions and the joy of helping someone. I am happy when I help other people and see their smiles.
RVC is not only a volunteer organization, but also very good friends, a large and wonderful team. Most of all, I like projects related to children and ecology. I participate in the project “give a smile”. The guys and I go to the V. Ignatenko hospital every Saturday. Communication with children brings me a great mood for the whole day and an unforgettable experience. In addition, this year I am taking part in the creation of a new project “Erasing borders”. For launching this project, I was awarded the “Volunteer of the year” award in the “Volunteer coordinator” category.
I wish my friends-volunteers more strength and inspiration for good deeds, and future volunteers – success in their volunteer activities! Become a volunteer and your life will stop seeming boring!
